The site currently has one entrance, a pedestrian and vehicular gateway at the end of the cul de sac.
But Site rep Colin Weymouth has requested permission to convert an old stile at the far end of the site, currently broken and overgrown, into a second pedestrian access point.
It is hoped plotholders at the far end could then drive through the adjacent park to make deliveries to their plots.
Currently, as the path at the top of the plot is no longer wide enough and there is no longer a turning circle at the far end, plotholders have to take all loads by hand.
It is believed lorries used to drive through the grassland to make deliveries over the fence, as well as the stile being open for pedestrians.
