Paignton Home Garden and Allotment Society has been invited to take part in a possible future community event onthe play park next to the Derrell Road site.
The park was recently awarded lottery funding for improvements and plans to celebrate with a community party.
The society has been asked if it would like to man a stall at the event, which would be held on a Saturday date yet to be determined, and possibly raise funds by selling plants or produce.
Part of the money raised would be given to the park committee for future projects.
The event would be designed to get parents and children involved in the park and in the community and the event could include entertainment, food, stalls and other attractions.
