A garden share scheme has been launched in Newton Abbot allowing people who have no allotment or garden to link up with garden owners and grow produces on their land in return for a share of the produce.
Newton Abbot Garden Share scheme is run by Transition Newton Abbot, supported by the town council.
Gardeners will be approved before they are matched to owners and will be covered by public liability insurance for accidental damage.
A similar scheme is run in Torbay and in Totnes.
