A number of holders have yet to return their contracts, sent out at the start of April, which must be back with payment by May 10.
After May 10 the committee will send out letters to those who haven't paid and could serve people with a month's notice to quit their plots.
The contracts also allow the society to issue people who haven't paid with a financial penalty.
Keith Parker, the society chairman, told a meeting of the society this week that he understood that even though rents were low some people may have trouble paying them - so the society would take this into consideration.
Plotholders served with notice will have an opportunity to make their case.
