The chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.

2. Minutes of the previous meeting in September 2020 were agreed as presented (not read), in view of the time that had elapsed.
3. Matters arising from the minutes:

4. Correspondence:
- 20 DR plotholder have requested that they put a bench on their plot in memory of the plot holder who had sadly passed away. This was discussed and agreed.
- Sec reported plenty of requests to be added to the waiting list, which is now standing at over 120.
- It has been reported by the plot holder that plants from the pond on 26b LP had been removed and had later appeared on Facebook marketplace and subsequently sold. A committee member has seen evidence of them being offered for sale and sec is to write to the identified plot holder who took them with a request that they be restored to the pond. As this amounts to theft of property, the offender’s lease will be terminated if the items are not replaced.
- Pat Marriott (Oakleigh) reported that she had received a request from a householder in Batson Gardens that the fruit trees on the bottom of plots 17 and 18 be pruned as they were blocking light getting to her garden. This was discussed and agreed, but only at the correct time of year, as fruit trees should not be pruned when in fruit! Apple trees can be pruned in January and plum/cherry trees can be pruned around now. Chairman has agreed to attend the site with a tree-cutter to assess when they can be cut back.

- A new shed has been placed on LP site and Society tools have been securely stored.

- Derrell Road
- 3b – very overgrown, no/little cultivation. Sec to write.
- 4 – has not paid nor been in touch. Sec to ask if he wants his tools to be returned to him so the plot can be relet as it appears that he is not returning.
- 13b – has been strimmed but not cultivated. Plotholder recently took over v overgrown plot, so situation will be monitored.
- Oakleigh
- 13b – not paid. Plot appears to be vacant. Sec to formally terminate lease. Will be strimmed before reletting.
- 29b – not cleared – sec to ask intentions.
- 31 – Overgrown – sec to ask intentions.
- 34a – has reported that rubbish is being dumped on his plot from another plot.
- 42a – overgrown/no cultivation. Sec to write.
- Lower Penns
- 7b – overgrown – chairman to deal with this.
- All sites
- We are all responsible for our own rubbish and please dispose of it properly without dumping it elsewhere on the site.
- We have had reports of produce being stolen – please can we be vigilant for strangers on the sites.

- It was asked if there is likely to be a summer barbecue this year or a Christmas get-together. Social committee is to be asked if they would like to gauge likely support and organise if appropriate.
