2.    Minutes of the previous meeting in September 2020 were agreed as presented (not read), in view of the time that had elapsed.

3.    Matters arising from the minutes:
  • N/A

4.    Correspondence:
  • 20 DR plotholder have requested that they put a bench on their plot in memory of the plot holder who had sadly passed away. This was discussed and agreed.
  • Sec reported plenty of requests to be added to the waiting list, which is now standing at over 120.
  • It has been reported by the plot holder that plants from the pond on 26b LP had been removed and had later appeared on Facebook marketplace and subsequently sold. A committee member has seen evidence of them being offered for sale and sec is to write to the identified plot holder who took them with a request that they be restored to the pond. As this amounts to theft of property, the offender’s lease will be terminated  if the items are not replaced.
  • Pat Marriott (Oakleigh) reported that she had received a request from a householder in Batson Gardens that the fruit trees on the bottom of plots 17 and 18 be pruned as they were blocking light getting to her garden. This was discussed and agreed, but only at the correct time of year, as fruit trees should not be pruned when in fruit! Apple trees can be pruned in January and plum/cherry trees can be pruned around now. Chairman has agreed to attend the site with a tree-cutter to assess when they can be cut back.
